FAQs

  1. How long does delivery take?

    1. Each restaurant will add 40 minutes (lunch) or 60 minutes (dinner) to their cook time to estimate the final delivery time (which is the delivery window). For example, when you get the response from the restaurant confirming your online order, the “delivery time” provided will include both the cook time and delivery time. For example, if your lunch order takes 30 minutes to cook, the restaurant will send you a 70 minute delivery time (30 minutes to cook the food +40 minutes to deliver the food). However, since the delivery radius is 8-miles, our goal is to make deliveries much sooner than 70 minutes for lunch. We need to make sure your meal is nice and hot! How delivery window is an estimate. If the delivery will take longer than stated, you will be contacted.

  2. How much is the delivery fee and when do I pay for it?

    1. The delivery fee is $5 for all restaurants. You would pay the delivery fee when you check-out online. Cafe Mangia is the only restaurant where you would need to pay your delivery fee at the point of delivery. Your Service Delivery Agent will request your credit/debit card and swipe it using their Square card reader (see below "What is the Square application") if you do order from Cafe Mangia.

  3. Can I call the restaurant to place a delivery order?

    1. Not at this time.

  4. Do you do large orders/catering orders?

    1. If you are placing a large or catered order, please contact the restaurant directly and they will coordinate the delivery date and time with you.

  5. What is the Square application?

    1. Square is a payment processing solution used on Füd Delivery Agent’s smartphones to collect the delivery fee (and tip!) for Cafe Mangia. It’s a safe way to receive payment using a secure connection. Don’t worry, the delivery agent DOES NOT have access to your credit card information, nor is anything stored on their phone. All information goes to Square for processing.

  6. Will the Füd Delivery Agents be opening up the food containers to check my food?

    1. No. Füd Delivery Agents are prohibited from opening any food containers.

  7. What happens if I get the wrong order/something is missing?

    1. Contact the restaurant. Our Delivery Agents will be verifying the order at pick up to ensure all the containers are with the proper order, but will NOT be opening the food containers and/or inspecting the food in any way. Call the restaurant if you did not get everything you ordered.

  8. How do I check my delivery status?

    1. You will get notified via SMS text on your smartphone and you'll receive an email when your order is picked up from the restaurant. You would follow the link to track your Service Delivery Agent.

  9. Should I tip my driver? If so, how much?

    1. You should definitely consider tipping your driver. Think of the delivery driver as your waiter(ress) who is serving you in the comfort of your own home keeping your food safe and delivering to you as fast as possible. We recommend tipping your delivery driver what you would tip a waiter(ess) if you were at the restaurant.
  10. What if my delivery driver was rude?

    1. Your satisfaction is our NUMBER ONE  priority. We kindly ask that you contact us immediately if you are not 100% satisfied with your delivery experience via our Facebook Messenger.

  11. What if I want to cancel my order?

    1. You would immediately contact the restaurant and it’s up to their discretion to accept the cancellation. It’s your responsibility to contact the restaurant IMMEDIATELY if you want to cancel the order. If a restaurant has started or already prepared your food, then don’t expect an accepted cancellation.

  12. What if all the food I ordered isn’t there?

    1. You would immediately contact the restaurant and work out the issue with them. They are responsible for inaccurate orders. Our Service Delivery Agents will do what they can to verify all your containers are contained within the delivery, but won't be opening up containers to confirm if the actually accurate.

  13. Is there an ordering app?

    1. Not at this time. FudDelivery.com is mobile friendly.
